Last Friday, John made the big decision to stop all treatments and to go into Hospice care. His body had been on an 8+ week “roller coaster” of medical ups and downs. It often appeared that his body was fighting to both live and to die at the same time.
Through the New Years weekend he was corresponding with family and friends on his iPad, reading, eating, joking, watching football, and more. He has now entered a stage of resting and waiting.
We ask your prayers for both John and our family as he “finishes well”.
Love to all,
Ruth
It’s been an honor to be a part of your life, John.
With love your friend,

You always made me feel so welcomed at St. Andrews. Often times it was just a simple “Hello”. I will always remember your kindness.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day — and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
